Each week, we’ll be tracking a snapshot of year-over-year distributor revenue with our Pandemic Revenue Index (PRI). At the mid-point of December, the index is back near break even with a weekly increase of 0.3% vs. the same week in 2019.
Eight respondents reported increases ranging from 2% to 28%. Of the six companies reporting declines, the range was 2% to 43%.
I would expect the next two weeks to show increases simply because Christmas and New Year’s Day fall on Fridays this year vs. Wednesday last year. Any true trend probably won’t be apparent until mid-January.
