Distributor Weekly Pandemic Revenue Index (PRI): October 19-October 23, 2020
Each week, we’ll be tracking a snapshot of year-over-year distributor revenue with our Pandemic Revenue Index (PRI). We would like to increase the sample size and are asking you to consider helping the industry through these uncertain and unprecedented times. If you are interested, reach out to Mike Emerson, at firstname.lastname@example.org. The sample size for the week of October 19-October 23 is 12 firms, one less than last week.
This week’s index shows a sales increase of 6.8% versus the same week in 2019. Contributing to the increase was one company reporting growth of 67% over the same week prior year. Excluding this outlier, the overall sales change is still positive but at 1.3%.
Half the respondents reported increases ranging from 1% to the aforementioned 67%. The half with decreases ranged from 1% to 22%.
Thanks for following along with us as we analyze the impact of this pandemic. As we collect more experiences, we will continue to share patterns as they emerge.
