Distributor Weekly Pandemic Revenue Index (PRI): September 21-September 25, 2020

Each week, we’ll be tracking a snapshot of year-over-year distributor revenue with our Pandemic Revenue Index (PRI). We would like to increase the sample size and are asking you to consider helping the industry through these uncertain and unprecedented times. If you are interested, reach out to Mike Emerson, at memerson@ircg.com. The sample size for the week of September 21-September 25 is 12 firms, which is the same as last week.

IRCG Pandemic Revenue Index September 21 25 2020

This week’s index shows a sales decrease of 0.7% versus the same week in 2019. When looking at average daily sales, this is the first decrease since the beginning of August (Sept 7-11 was a four-day week versus a five-day week in 2019).

Seven companies reported decreases with four of them being double digit decreases. One index participant was flat and of the four companies that saw increases, the range was from 13% to 36%, so there is still a fair amount of variance among the participants.

Thanks for following along with us as we analyze the impact of this pandemic. As we collect more experiences, we will continue to share patterns as they emerge.
